About George Triay

As an accomplished artist and computer graphics specialist, I have extensive experience in layout design & pre-press production, digital & traditional illustration, web design, product & landscape photography.

Previously, I worked at Nature’s Path Foods a graphic designer and lead production specialist in the Creative department. I was responsible for packaging, sales and promotional graphic designs, and pre-press production which included printer proof approvals and press-checks coordination with various printers. Additionally, I served as the Creative team’s main contact for their various print vendors.

Prior to joining Nature’s Path, I led the graphics team at Peak Products Manufacturing Inc., a leading provider of home improvement products distributing to major retail outlets such as Home Depot and Rona throughout Canada and the US. During my time at Peak, I was responsible for marketing and branding initiatives while applying my extensive agency and marketing knowledge to every client’s business challenges.

With my hands-on management and freelance design experience, I have worked closely with blue chip clients that include VIA Rail Canada, B.C. Biotechnology Alliance, Microsoft World Class Selling, Home Depot Canada, MVKA productions, emc2events, John Ross Insurance, BCIT, University of British Columbia, and the YMCA of Greater Vancouver amongst many others.

I have studied Fine Arts at Simon Fraser University, and have earned a diploma in Graphic Design and Illustration from Capilano University. Prior to attending SFU, I completed a Pre-college Experience program at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver.
